TOGAther, We Stand

Leaving no graduate behind — togas, safe-space seminars, and social-emotional support for night-high students, with ₱134,500 raised in just 20 days for 350 graduates.

TOGAther, We Stand

Nearly 11 million Filipino youth are out of school, sidelined not by ability but by lack of interest and the hard arithmetic of poverty. For many night-high students in Mandaue, even reaching graduation day is a quiet victory — and one many can't fully celebrate, because a graduation toga is a cost their families simply can't carry.

TOGAther, We Stand makes sure no graduate is left behind. The Merry Men of JCI Mandaue raised ₱134,500 within 20 days to put a toga on every graduate and surround them with more than a ceremony. Alongside the academics, the project delivers access to basic needs and social-emotional learning — safe-space and anti-bullying seminars that build resilience, equality, and the confidence to keep going.

In its run, the initiative reached 350 graduates directly and benefited more than 2,000 people indirectly across their families and school communities. It's more than a project; it's a movement — because when we stand TOGAther, every student stands a chance.
