Kwentong Mandaue
A community storytelling series spotlighting the everyday changemakers of Mandaue City — vendors, teachers, volunteers, and unsung heroes — through interviews, portraits, and short documentaries.
Every barangay in Mandaue carries stories worth telling. Kwentong Mandaue ("Stories of Mandaue") is JCI Mandaue's upcoming community storytelling series, training the chapter's lens on the people who quietly hold the city together — the market vendor who feeds her neighbors, the teacher who stays late, the volunteer who shows up.
Working alongside local partners and barangay leaders, member-storytellers will gather interviews, portraits, and short-form documentaries, then share them across the chapter's platforms and MandaWe Magazine. Each feature celebrates a real Mandauehanon and the values the Merry Men live by.
The series is built to do double duty: it amplifies the chapter's voice in the community while putting the spotlight where it belongs — on Mandaue's own people. By telling these stories with care, JCI Mandaue strengthens its credibility, deepens local trust, and invites a wider audience to take part in service.
