With all protocols observed,
A Merry Evening Everyone, Maayong Gabie, Magandang Gabi, 좋은 저녁이에요, 晚上好.
I would like to recognize our distinguise guests who honored us by their presence today.
I welcome those who have travelled from afar to join us today.
I am at loss of words to express my gratitude to each of you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Nakaka taba po ng puso. Akala ko areacon or natcon na sa dami natin ngayon and Yes It is amazing being able to stand before all of you and share this special moment in the History of JCI Mandaue.
I remember before I was elected as the 2022 LO president of my chapter, I was kinda nervous and ask Pres Charie.. kaya ko na ba talaga?? And she said Honestly, ako noon Hindi pa ready.. but listen to your heart, as long as you have that heart that is willing to give and mind that is willing to learn then everything else follows. And she was right, and that motivates me-- Her being a 24 year old girl was given a chance to Lead her chapter successfully. Kaya inisip ko i can do this too
When I entered President's academy ,
i really don't know what to expect, and there i Met Pres Angelo of JCI Aklan Kalantiao, my batchmates particularly my roommates, they were by Best Buddies . I learned a lot of things from them and also during the Acad. That time i can say, ah Kakayanin ko to!..
Right after the Acad, when I saw my Merrymen brothers with their big smiles and congratulating i know for a sure na Kayang kaya na to. why? Because I got the best brothers in the world! And being part of our brotherhood is beyond humbled and honored.
As I look around the room, back over the past 4 years since I joined this chapter, I realize how much you have helped me grow as a person and a business man. you’ve offered your guidance, your friendship and your time to get to know me.
1.) Being with you, i had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with hundreds of people.
2.)There has been no shortage of opinions or ideas and you have that voice with a desire to make Mandaue better .
3.) We are proud of our roots and humble begginings.- we are resilient and always driven by a deep commitment to reach new heights.
After all, sino ba naman ang hndi magging grateful to be given a Chance To Lead this amazing Chapter!?
Aside form that , There are many people here who play a crucial role in my life and who gave me the drive to really accept this task. Time does not allow me to mention everyone by name, but each of you knows i will always be grateful for your support
I want to thank God above all for all the blessings he bestowed upon me and my Family.
Special thanks to Pres Ramil, Pres Rod, AVP Eric and RVP Nike -you guys served as my mentors in my JCI journey.
I want to offer deep appreciation as well to EVP Toffee, EVP JM and my BODS for all the hardwork you gave for the preparation of this induction and turnover ceremonies!
Our Sister Chapters, thank you for supporting Us all the way .Seeing you here tonight, warms my heart.
Most heartfelt thanks to My family especially MY Mom whose love and support continue to make all the difference in the world for me in every aspect of my personal and professional life.
To my #KwanandOnly, The JCI Mandaue's First Lady.. My Mahal Pres Charie thank you for being my inspiration, for supporting me and for your trust and love..
And Lastly to My MerryMen brothers, especially MY IPP, MY BODs and our Past Presidents, thankyou so much for your confidence and support. i know how much time and energy over many years that you have devoted to helping JCI Mandaue advance and succeed.
RVP Nike, I appreciate your mentoring and i also look forward for your wise counsel during my term .
I AM TRULY Grateful for the trust you have placed in me to carry on the Task.
I am honoured to follow the line up of people who have provided guidance for our Chapter . each of our past Presidents has brought a different vision with them and all have proven to have different strengths. I suppose I am no different . I have some ideas that I would like to see within the chapter and I hope that you will support me as you’ve supported those Presidents who have come before me.
I hope when you look back on 2022 we have a year full of laughter, fellowship and making better friendships within our chapter while continuing along our path of giving within the local and international communities.
There are many challenges ahead. But let’s not forget we are JCI Mandaue – united by our values and rich with talent. If each of us puts in what we can, we will find that we can get back what we need – but also so much more on top of that.
Brothers, in the days ahead, we will focus on our future together but for now, let us pause for a few minutes, be present to each other and to this occassion and time in our history as JCI Mandaue. Let us be grateful and celebrate the path that was travelled to get us Here and thank all who were part of our journey.
I know we will be able to rise to this challenge and it’s my hope that we will exceed this goal. This sounds Crazy but I love you really, My MerryMen Brothers!
Standing before you today as Your 2022 LO President, i am confident that Unified together, #WEWinAsKwan!
Daghang Salamat ug Mabuhay ang MerryMen, Mabuhay ang JCI Mandaue!
